This project involved a comprehensive refurbishment of a holiday property, transforming the layout and modernising the interior throughout. The works focused on improving the internal flow of the home, opening up the living spaces and upgrading the overall finish of the property.
The clients entrusted Jenks & Co with managing the project from start to finish while they were away from the property. Throughout the refurbishment we maintained regular communication and progress updates to ensure the clients remained informed at each stage of the works.
One of the key elements of this project was improving the layout of the property. Many of the original internal walls created small and restrictive rooms, particularly around the staircase area.
Most of the internal partition walls were removed as part of the refurbishment, with the exception of two structural walls on the upper floor. The walls surrounding the staircase were reconfigured and replaced with a half-height wall, which helped open up the space and allow natural light to flow more freely through the property while still maintaining a sense of separation.
These changes significantly improved the overall feel of the interior, making the rooms appear larger and more connected.
Alongside the structural alterations, the property underwent a full internal refurbishment to modernise the living spaces and improve functionality.
The works included:
These improvements allowed the property to be completely refreshed while also improving how the spaces function for everyday use.
The completed refurbishment has transformed the property into a much more open, modern and practical living environment. The improved layout, upgraded finishes and new wet room have significantly enhanced the comfort and usability of the home.
By carefully reconfiguring the internal spaces and modernising the interior throughout, the project has successfully turned the property into a well-designed and welcoming holiday home.
